Um, you need to read about Ruby Ridge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruby_Ridge" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Congress found much misconduct by the agencies involved. The government agents' hands were far from clean, and they provoked the confrontation based on lies.

You also need to read about the Waco siege. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waco_siege" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Just like Ruby Ridge, the search warrant was based on an agent's proffer, which was not based on any evidence at all but pure speculation. In fact, some of what he testified to was refuted by the previous investigation by the Sheriff.

What I remember from the time it happened there were many questions why they just didn't arrest him at Walmart. He regularly came to a Walmart to by stuff for his big family.

This is what I don't get. On these no knock warrants....instead of busting in doors and killing animals and terrorizing kids why don't they just wait till they leave the house. Especially in a situation where they are known to leave the house on a regular basis.

Just irresponsible IMO. To the untrained eye it looks like sometimes the Feds and even local LEO's just want to get Rambo-Ed up.

Today, December 29, 2012 marks the 122nd Anniversary of the murder of 297 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee Creek on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

These 297 people, in their winter camp, were murdered by federal agents and members of the 7th Cavalry who had come to confiscate their firearms “for their own safety and protection”. The slaughter began AFTER the majority of the Sioux had peacefully turned in their firearms. When the final round had flown, of the 297 dead or dying, two thirds (200) were women and children.
If you say, oh, that was in the past. They would never do that now. How long ago was Waco?

Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. Eternal.

The slaughter always begins after the majority have surrendered their weapons. Once the sheep have been disarmed, the wolves attack. America is no different from any other country. There are good men, and there are evil men. Our system of government protects us, but only if we refuse to disarm.
As I have avowed for over 40 years, "Custer had it coming". Too bad he had all those enlisted men and horses with him. :mad5
