Prince George of Cambridge

Post by sjfcontrol »

Apparently the Royal Couple have decided on a name. Prince George of Cambridge.

All this means to me is that at some time in the future, we may have to deal with "King George" -- again! :evil2:

If only the unwashed masses in this country were as concerned about the government here as they are about the future figurehead of the UK.....sigh... :grumble

Well, Whoopdie Doo!

We went to war a couple of centuries ago so that we didn't have to deal with the English throne and yet we still can't shake our obsession with it.

I heard they were going to name him John Paul George. They thought about John Paul George Ringo, but no one likes Ringo.

I'm so happy for them!

They are just figureheads now, but they bring in millions in revenue each year. It supposedly costs each subject less than a pound per year, I think around 58p to pay their "wages". While I admire the history, I am so proud to be an American and grateful to have the freedoms we have. And I'm so glad we don't spend $10 a gallon on gas as they do to support their socialist society. I have a feeling we are headed that way. Their society might work to their benefit if they weren't letting in masses of poverty stricken immigrants that drain the coffers.

What's this "Immigration Bill" about that I keep hearing of in this country?

Yes, point well made, but the whole of their island can fit into Texas 2.8 times. Lol. They can't support the influx of non-contributors. Not that we can continue either.

Considering most of my ancestors at one time or another threw a spear or took a shot at the English all I care to say about royalty is:
“Libertie! Equalitie! Fraternitie!" :anamatedbanana
