1. He must've had his training from that DEA speaker who done shot off his pinky toe
2. I purposely keep my anti-gun far left lib acquaintances (ppl i knew while I lived in Western WA State mostly) on my FB just to have "SPIRITED" debates. :thumbs2: I love me a good argument from time to time that I can counter their screaming meme emotional rants with facts, stats and court rulings. :woohoo
Here is some of my spirited debate on this accidental shooting incident with an in-law.

Me: "Guns are safe as long as you follow the four rules 1. All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy. (For those who insist that this particular gun is unloaded, see Rule 1.)
3. Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target. This is the Golden Rule. Its violation is directly responsible for about 60 percent of inadvertent discharges.
4. Identify your target, and what is behind it. Never shoot at anything that you have not positively identified.

The instructor apparently did not remember rule number one or three. Real shame, wonder if he got a refund on the class." (note, I got the last sentence from right here on the forum)

In-law: "Just listen to what you are saying, sometimes you need people to tell you you are crazy. You are crazy. Guns are not safe. They have the capacity to take human life. Handguns were designed to take human life."

In-law post this morning: "Organizing For Action Delivers Unicorn Trophies To 135 'Climate Deniers' In Congress. Time to call out these idiots."

I let these go, as "global warming" is a religion now, and through logic, I am not going to be able to change some one's religion.

I believe it is important to understand what the other side is saying, as it keeps you more informed.

Maybe he can go into business with the intructor who walks downrange during shooting.
