I just sent a funny Texas post card to my best friend in England telling her I carry now. I know it is going to blow her mind! I snickered a good while after sending it.

She's gonna flip. I just wish I was there to see her expression.
They are experiencing a massive influx of EU "foreigners" in the UK, many with criminal pasts in their home country. As much as I love the UK, it won't be the same country for much longer. They won't be able to hold onto that single mindedness for much longer, they are becoming a melting pot of people who flat out refuse to melt. They bring their nationality and culture and remain fixed in their minds, refusing to adapt.
I do believe their perspective on law enforcement, personal safety, and rights of individuals is scary. I respect what they're trying to hold onto, this British idealism, but the scary facts of crime are mounting. They may not have the mass shootings as often as we do, but the crimes against the individuals are just as horrifying. If they would dedicate a good look at their own knife, rape, pedophiles, burglary with violence, it would stack up to be a huge eye opener for them. How they can tolerate such crimes on a daily basis is beyond me. My ideas as an American and Texan totally rebel against these forms of criminal attacks. Why shouldn't I be able to defend myself in my own home or business without fear of being arrested and taken to jail for common human rights to self defense? They have story after story of criminals being made out of genuine citizen heroes protecting their homes and families. We as Americans have the idea of us having individual rights, they do not. They are not citizens they are SUBJECTS. Huge difference. Their long history of the monarchy has made them subservient to their Queen or King, they go with the flow, we take our individual rights much more seriously. They're trying to poison the idea of individualism with their extreme liberal agendas is what they're trying to do to us with their "scientific studies" about our gun culture. Go ahead, it's all going to backfire on you because sadly in 100 years you will no longer have the British culture you hold so dear.
