In spite of the political rhetoric, it's nice to see a survey that shows they're getting no traction (other than on the MSM):

It's interesting that almost half of NON gun owners say they don't favor stricter gun control.

I find this bit of information to be most refreshing.
Let's hope that our various elected representatives in both the state and federal governments will recognize these poll results to be the voice of the people and stuff their own selfish agendas. If they don't, vote 'em out.

I'm hoping that it isn't just more gun control that gets cut back. We'll see how much further down the "nanny" state road we go in 2011.
