Confused about fingerprinting in Austin.

Hi all! New guy here trying to figure out if it's still ok to gets prints done at the DPS by highland mall or if I have to use L1 at this time. Dps would be much more convenient. Filing paperwork today! Thanks!!

They do a digital print at the Denson dps location, which is great, but I'm still a bit confused on if they are an approved location as of now.

Because they will only accept prints from L1 as of March 1. Digital prints, even if they come from a law enforcement agency, will not be accepted.

If the OP gets in there and gets his prints submitted before then, he will be OK.

There is that, of course. I almost specified that I don't see any reason they wouldn't be accepted prior to March 1. Thanks for making the distinction.

Just a quick update:
Got my prints done at the L1 in Round Rock today, service was very fast (in and out in fifteen minutes) and the lady was very professional.
