No matter what they call it, they still stink.

Truth in advertising.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation provides Investigations.
The Violent Crimes Bureau provides violent crimes (such as those committed with Fast and Furious weapons). I won't even go into some of their other efforts.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Three and a half years into his term, we finally get something true from Obama's executive branch.

IIRC, they were formed to tax alcohol and tobacco; the taxation job should be given to the IRS (the Treasury Dept/Secret Service is a division is already weaponized too) and the BATF disbanded.
They are probably scared someone remembered that they were formed to tax tobacco and alcohol (those tax stamps) and want to justify their existence by pretending they are *supposed to be* police over more areas than checking tax stamps on alcohol bottles and cigarette packages. If it works, the road and bridge Dept could change names to road bridge and airplane runway dept and control all flights ... Self-Name-Changes by ones own Dept do not/should not grant additional authority than what Congress originally authorized as the purpose of the agency ..

At least half the federal agencies would be done away with by a president who respected the constitution even a little.
