I saw a presser from the Dekalb Police Chief and he said that officers returned fire and no one was hurt and that the suspect was arrested. No one was hurt? I wonder if he also meant the suspect.

You should point your anti gun friend to this part of the story.
Investigators said Hill will be charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, terroristic threats and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Hello?!?! He's a convicted felon. What does his possession of guns have to do with the legal possession of firearms by law abiding citizens? It's time people start pointing out the hypocrisy of demanding that law abiding citizens disarm because felons are using guns illegally.

You should also point out that it appears he was recently arrested, took a plea deal and got probation. He never should have been out on the street this quickly, nor should he have had a gun. But....he is a criminal...they don't care about laws, never have.

Actually, kudos to the school secretary who talked him into surrendering. She already had him give up all of his weapons and he was laying face down on the floor with his hands behind his back when she told them to enter as he was giving up.

A most pointless exercise. Gun control is not about reducing crime.

That is correct. It is purely about Control.

Sure she did good :thumbs2: ....However my kudos still stand as leo's responded, took fire, and returned fire. All contributing factors that also helped convince this wacko to surrender. I guess he realized that getting shot at isn't so fun.

I wonder where this nut obtained an evil assault weapon? I am sure ATF is all over that today. This guy will help fuel the renewed call for gun control, ect. :smash:
During the standoff, Tuff said the suspected gunman "went outside several times and shot at police officers."

yep by disarming law abiding citizens you create a whole NEW class of criminal.
