I know that people carrying openly are often harassed by the police. Is there anything in
the new law to prevent the police from charging someone who is open carry with disturbing the peace. A conviction for disturbing the peace is grounds for revoking a LTC/CHL

If OCer is not doing something stupid, like pre-fight verbal war, then NO. otherwise, OC would not be legal.

We shouldn't be afraid to obey the law, we should be mindful that lots of people will not know/like that OC is the law. Over the next year we will see people relax and for those of us that want to OC will be able to do so freely

So much awesomeness wrapped up in how horrible that was. :-)
Undoubtedly, people will get arrested for disturbing the peace while OCing. Some may even be formally charged, but as long as they weren't doing anything beyond simple OC, any decent attorney should be able to convince a judge to dismiss the charges.
